MTM Consultants & Associates was born from the combined experience of Mercedes T. Moran and Jose R. Gomez M. — two professionals who spent years navigating the tech industry from different angles. Mercedes built her career in business strategy and technology leadership, guiding companies through digital transformation and complex software initiatives. Jose honed his craft as a full-stack engineer and systems architect, shipping products across healthcare, fintech, and SaaS. They crossed paths while collaborating on an enterprise project and quickly realized they shared the same frustration: too many businesses were stuck with software that didn't fit how they actually worked.

That shared frustration became the motivation behind MTM. They saw a gap in the market — companies either hired massive agencies that treated them like ticket numbers, or they cobbled together freelancers with no long-term accountability. Mercedes and Jose set out to build something different: a firm small enough to give every client senior-level attention, but experienced enough to deliver enterprise-quality results. The goal was simple — combine deep technical expertise with a genuine consulting mindset, so every engagement starts by understanding the business, not just writing code.

Since its founding, MTM has grown from a small two-person consultancy into a full-service software studio serving clients across healthcare, hospitality, food service, entertainment, and technology. Projects like Lunanul, Luramed, The Hub Louisville, and Havana Rumba reflect the range and depth of what the team delivers — from AI-powered applications to multi-location digital platforms. Through it all, the core philosophy has stayed the same: work on fewer projects, invest more in each one, and make sure the client owns everything at the end. Looking ahead, MTM continues to expand its capabilities in AI, automation, and cloud architecture while staying true to the hands-on, relationship-first approach that started it all.
