About the product
El Rectangle is an open kitchen bar in Barcelona's Sant Antoni neighborhood, serving creative seasonal sharing plates from the robata grill alongside organic and natural wines. The restaurant dissolves the boundary between kitchen and guest, and its website needed to do the same — putting the raw, personal energy of the counter experience on screen.
We designed and built an editorial, photography-first site around the venue's black-and-white imagery and handwritten brand marks, with a moody collage layout that feels more like a zine than a restaurant template. The site carries menus, reservations, the team's story, and a merch shop, covers the sister walk-in venue El Cuadrat, and ships fully trilingual in English, Spanish, and Catalan.
