About the product
Teremu is the back-of-house tool that independent restaurants in LATAM and Spain have been missing. Instead of spreadsheets and manual data entry, chefs photograph their supplier invoices and the AI extracts every line item, updates ingredient prices, recalculates dish margins, and maintains a theoretical pantry — all automatically.
At the center of the product is a continuous-capture scanner with on-device quality control, feeding into a triage view where extracted lines sit side-by-side with the original photo for fast approval. Once approved, prices roll forward, menu costings update in real time, and the Pulse dashboard surfaces alerts when a supplier raises prices or a dish drops below its target margin. A built-in assistant lets chefs query their own data in natural language. The platform is mobile-first, privacy-conscious (recipes stay private — only ingredients and quantities are used), and offers a generous free tier so any kitchen can start in under five minutes.
